NA(TIONAL) NO(VEL) WR(ITING) MO(NTH)The month of November: a time to honor Veterans, a time to give thanks, a time to get ready for Christmas ... and a time to write 50,000 words in 30 days. That's right folks. November is the time for National Novel Writing Month (or NaNoWriMo for short) where those who want to be writers put pen to paper (or fingers to keyboard) and try to churn out something resembling a novel. Last year was my first time doing NaNoWriMo and I had succeeded in doing about 52,000 words when I rewrote all of my talk show editorials. This year I am divided between writing editorials for a couple of media sites and also writing up my roleplay. Depending on which one gains enough steam by November 15, I will posit that into the NaNoWriMo site for my entry. © Rick Bulow 2014 |
