Today is the official start of the 2017 edition of National Novel Writing Month. Every year I have some sort of idea as to what to do. This year, because of Hurricane Irma and the aftermath, I had literally no idea based on the fact that things for me had changed as far as living arrangement. Then it hit me: why not just do a mish-mash of everything rolled into one this year. So I will be working on a hodgepodge of items for my NaNo project, and will be posting it here for all to read as I go along.
As I type this it is 10:15 Eastern time. In 105 minutes it will be November 1 and at that time another wonderful year of NaNoWriMo madness will begin. I already have a plan, just like I did last year, and this time I will definitely be updating my blog every week as to what and how I am doing. It will include my word count as well as how many more words I have to go and also what my projected finish date will be. NaNoWrimo’ers, start your fingers!
Hello and welcome to my National Novel Writing Month Blog. National Novel Writing Month (or NaNoWriMo) is an event held every November where participants have 30 days to write a “Novel” (It could be of any genre, even non-fiction for those who are rebels) of 50,000 words long, or 1667 words per day. I had participated in it last year and rewrote my talk show editorials which came out to 52,000 words.
This blog will house my rough draft of my “novel” which I am debating between a roleplay in Gor that I am currently working on or possibly posit my series of articles from the media sites I write for. I will see just what will be doable per day and then go with it.
